1970s
Michigan Wineries, later known as Warner Vineyards, actively operated the winery through the early 1970's and then began using it as storage only. Somewhere during this time the Butler building was constructed. From the late 70's through the 80's the facilities fell to disrepair. Maintenance was not done and their condition deteriorated.
