The Lawton Community Center has the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony.
Outside Ceremony
The front yard of the Center makes a wonderful outdoor setting for your wedding. There is no additional charge for the use of the Center’s lawn, however any set up and clean up will be the responsibility of the client.
Main Room Ceremony
Ceremonies may also be performed in the main room in conjunction with your reception. A limited amount of theatre style seating is set along with guest seating at the round tables. There is no additional charge for this service.
Great Room Ceremony
The 5100 square foot, two story tall Great Room offers a spectacular setting for your ceremony. The bride makes a breathtaking entrance down an oak staircase. Guests enter from a separate entrance. The room is equipped with an 8 foot by 12 foot carpeted platform, decorated lattice archway, wooden alter table, and white wooden pedestals in various heights. The center has a total of 575 chairs to be used on all three levels.

There is no additional charge for rehearsals. Rehearsals will be held the day preceding your wedding whenever possible. Rehearsals may last up to 1 ½ hours, but must be completed by 7:30pm. Music for the ceremony is provided by the client, a piano and organ are available at no additional charge. Organizational assistance for the rehearsal and ceremony can be provided by Center Director and is included in the rental pricing.
